It was a sight to see; all the students clutching their vanity cases, waiting for the workshop to begin and slightly curious to know what they were in for. On the morning of 06 August, Ms. Princy Raveendran started off the session with the basic theory of make-up. She explained the types of skin, describing in detail the hairline, forehead, cleft, jaw line, etc. All the students listened with rapt attention, cosmetics being a favourite topic among them.
The theory done, two students were called to demonstrate the make-up techniques, the direction of the strokes and so on. With practiced precision, the make-up was applied for the two of them. The result was a total transformation!
At the end of the workshop, the students had a clear idea about the pros and cons of using make-up, and the wonders it does to a person and her personality. The students cleared their doubts, asked questions and were confident about the session. They will now try the newly learnt techniques on themselves, enhancing their appearance.
