The students of the 3 month batch
attended a workshop on Cake Decoration on 25 September 2013, conducted by Ms
Marianne Johannes. Cooking is an art, they say. Well, everyone would definitely
agree with that point if they’d attended the workshop.
The students learnt how to decorate cakes professionally with the use of flavored icing, baskets, and other shapes made out of chocolate and icing. Also, they were taught the skill of decorating a cake with homemade icing. Chocolate fondant was another topic that prodded their interest. It was one delicious workshop with rich creamy icing and a cherry on top
