It was indeed a blessing for the students
of the 3 month batch of GSFS who visited Mercy Home, a shelter for elderly
underprivileged people. Students spent the whole day with the inmates of the
home, singing, talking and acquiring some of their wisdom.
It was a change for the inmates
as well, to have hosted young guests. The students enjoyed the company of their
hosts as they started singing and generally interacting with each other. The
time they spent with the elderly people was extremely precious, and was a very
touching experience for the students as they were greeted with unconditional
love. They left with tears in their eyes.
